Nieves Home Improvements began in 2007 in Winsted, Connecticut, founded on a simple idea: treat every customer's home the way you'd treat your own family's. More than fifteen years later, we operate from nearby Torrington and serve homeowners across the state — but that family-first approach hasn't changed.
We're family-owned and operated, which means when you call, you're talking to the people who actually do the work and answer for it. No franchise scripts. As Your General Contractor
For most projects, our own crew handles the work directly. When a job calls for specialized trades, we act as your general contractor and bring in trusted, vetted subcontractors — coordinating the whole project so you have one accountable point of contact from the first estimate to the final walkthrough.
